We are very happy and proud to announce the return of a 14u team to our organization. From 2007 to 2016 Washington Thunder was a single team (18A) organization. In 2017 we added a 14u team and in 2018 we added a 16u team. However, at the conclusion of the 2020 season we only had a sufficient number of qualified coaches to run two teams, which were the 16u and 18u teams. For 22'-23 season we are very happy to be back to full strength with all three age groups (14u-18u).
Washington Thunder Softball is a highly competitive organization, our areas of emphasis are player development, college recruiting and championship play.
Washington Thunder Softball is based in University Place Washington and does utilize Metro Parks fields to practice at certain times of the year. We offer a fall and winter tournament schedule, indoor and "off-season" training.8 tournaments from the beginning of June and we conclude tournament play in early August.
Most of our coaches are former college coaches, current high school coaches or former college softball players.
